Simply visit https://steemit.com/~witnesses then in the first seach box, type in "steemgigs". Witnesses simply run servers that host the steem blockchains etc. There are many witness, but one is able to choose better when they really know steemit.. Left to me, most of my choices are witnesses who i have known to be here long ago when steemit was rough and are still here etc
