I've seen this contest and I ignored it but it keeps coming again and again on my feed. So, I've decided to write because I believe we all have a story. Another thing that motivated me to write is because everyone is a winner in this contest. I don't like contest because most judge end up criticizing instead of correcting.

So what's my life like before and after steemit?

Before steemit...

I will start my story from when my school went on strike this February as my life before steemit.
A week after my school went on strike, I attended a seminar where I was introduced to cryptocurrency. The coach there told us so many sweet things and ended the seminar telling us that whosoever did not make his first million naira before the end of this year should be punished.

He told us other things and reason why we need money. They were all true. So finally I will become a millionaire.

A month after the seminar I realized this coach is fake. He collected our money and said he will be the one to monitor our wallet for us. I was at home already and his number was no longer going through. This sad story started my quest for the "internet success" he once mentioned during the coaching.

I was indoor for hours reading from one blog to the other. Downloading PDF files, watching YouTube videos, Webinar etc... I just wanted to make it at all cost.

I tried everything I found as long as it doesn't involve cryptocurrency.

(a lot has happened between this period but I don't want to continue with my boring story.)

At a point I stopped searching for this "internet success" and went back to being myself. And this is my normal self:
I wake up every morning and I'm always eager to go to the bathroom because there seems to be some unusual rhema there. I get inspiration to write a lot of motivational posts and poem for my facebook group: #Big_mindz. I found out I was doing something worthwhile then. Some people sent me message, some met me physically and said they've been blessed at one point or the other by reading my posts and that encouraged me to do more.

A friend told me to join steemit. I searched it online and found out it involved cryptocurrency, I almost changed my mind but I finally joined early August this year.

After steemit...

Well, nothing much has changed after I joined steemit but I must have something to say.
I've had less time to surf the internet because my school resumed shortly after I joined.

I joined steemit and I've bee struggling to find my way ever since then. I guess it is because I was introduced by someone who was not on steemit but felt I would do well if I join. It is a very vast planet and I don't claim I now know my way. But few days ago, I searched for the #nigeria tag and what I found gave me hope to continue on steemit. What I found out is that there are lot of Nigerians out here ready to help we the new fish in this steemit pool.

As I continue to steem and add value to this community, I have decided to set a goal for myself to earn not less than 100 SBD before the end of November. (I hope this is possible. :) )

You are a great genius if you read my boring story to the end without dropping your phone or hitting your head against the computer screen; I mean without sleeping.
