In the bivouac of life!

In the bivouac of life, O Lord,
Let me pass all the strife
That I may be brave and bold
In the midst of battle.

And in this bivouac,
Let me see magical colors
Hidden behind the clouds
Of rainbow in kaleidoscopic hues.

In the rugged road of life, O Lord,
Let me continue the journey
That my pace be steadfast
Leaving all behind, the past.

And in this road,
Let me breathe the sweet fragrance
Of little flowers along roadside fence
As they sway in graceful dance.

In thr sea of grief, O Lord,
Ease the pounding of my heart
Though on this earth, life is brief,
From Your Words, let me not depart.

And as I stand along the edge of life,
Let me grasp the exquisite calmness
Of a fresh, beautiful morn
After a nightstorm of things forlorn.
