THE TRANSCENTRAL HIGHWAY IN CEBU- a favorite place to riders

Sometimes me and my fiancee or my group in motorcycles went the place that we relax and to get a fresh air from the busy street of the city, this is our favorite hang out to all group of riders THE TRANSCENTRAL HIGHWAY.

This highway is the reason you can reach balamban and toledo here in cebu and many other distant cities and municipalities in matter of almost 2 hours only. The transcentral highway is indeed one of the most revolutionary transportation innovationscebu has ever made. Through this mountain highway land trips to lots of places in cebu's central and northwestern parts can be faster and easier.

This highway is a major road that is approximately of 33kms. from plaza housing, lahug to baranggay prenza municipality of balamban. At an Aerial view, it looks like a long snake perfectly nestled in the middle of the mountains and green trees around it. Some locals and visitors even consider the place a Mini Kennon Road of Baguio City because of it's evergreen sorroundings and cool temperature. in fact, it can be really foggy up hereh during rainy days.

Because the transcentral highway is sorrounded by green trees and other natural attractions, it has been a famous spots for taking pre-nuptial pictures. also, theres wide range of tourist attractions that can be found along this highway like Buwakan ni Alejandra or garden of alejandra, Temple of Leah, West 35 Eco Park, and many many more.

There are also more restaurants along the transcentral highway like chateau de busay and lantaw in baranggay busay. Another eating place you can find along the highway is Felixbertos Burgers and Hotdogs. this is the favorite hang out and stop over of all riders like me and other motorcycle group. The tops lookout is also located close to the highway along with the Adventure cafe.

When you reach the highest point of the highway you will get a chance to see the Queen city of the south. you may also see the Balamban shipyard the Tsuneishi Heavy Industries.
