WHAT IS STEEMIT BADGE? AND WHAT LEVEL ARE YOU NOW?

When I started on steemit last January 8, 2018 I am quite blinded because I don't know how to start and what is my next level as steemian. Nonetheless, I still continue in posting, commenting and interacting with the community until such time I saw a comment on my post telling me that I have an achievement and I was rewarded with "new badge"

"@steemitboard (60) Congratulations @joeysison! You have completed some achievement on steemit and have been rewarded with new badge(s)" I feel positive about this comment.

So I try to make a research about "new badge" when I looked at the steemitboard it shows that as steemians there is a path to go for all of us, and I feel excited, because there is a level up in what I am doing, there is a goal or target to accomplish or there is a chance to be promoted. It is great because as person we are designed to level up. If we go to school we undergo grade 1 to 12, in office we undergo from entry level to senior to manager etc. Everything in this world needs to level up and it is great to know that there is a level up in steemit. It makes me aggressive to pursue my next level.
