This is excellent for preventing ants from infesting the house, just by sprinkling over the microscopic entry points and around the room corners. I think it even absorbs some of the moisture in the bathroom air after a shower. I have tried drinking DE, but it is hard to get used to. I usually have to disguise the silty flavor with tea or flavored water.
Yes it is a very good natural insecticide @creativetruth and absorbent. I like its internal detoxifying applications for the body too.
