My Dish for Today: Fish Soup (Tinolang Isda) with Chayote (Sayote)

Maayong Adlaw (Good day) Steemians!

It's Black Saturday. Done praying and meditating.

Now it's time for my wife to have a break!

I prepared our lunch for today. By the way, aside from cooking rice I can cook Tinolang Isda (Fish Soup) too. Haha! 😁

I'll teach you how:

Ingredients:

Fish
Half Chayote(Sayote) only, cut into small pieces.
a little Ginger (Luy-a)
1 pc.Tomato (Kamatis), I used green, no ripe available
Spring Onion (Sibuyas Dahonan)
2 pcs. Lime (Kalamansi), need the juice only

Sorry, father and son fishes but I need to cook you both. Malooy pud ta tan-aw sa ilang mga dagway da.

Simple cooking procedure:

Boil 2 to 3 cups of water. While boiling add all the ingredients except for the Lime (Kalamansi). Add salt to taste. When cooked, put the Lime (Kalamansi) Juice. Done! 😁

Yum!

By the way, while I'm cooking my wife saying
*"Don't add more water, it will affect the taste. Don't put too much salt, might get salty. Don't overcook the chayote, won't eat that! One lime (kalamansi) is enough 'coz if you'll add more it will be too sour! (😧 I put 2)" *

Haaaay,, siya nalang unta nagluto kung wala siyay salig nako.😂 (Huh, if she doesn't trust my cooking, do it herself!) Hahaha, just kidding!

By the way, (no other choice) they liked the taste! 😜
