This is one of my drawings and explains my life before and after experiencing the Steemit Blockchain

Before the Steemit Blockchain

I had no idea what a blockchain was, cryptocurrency was like a foreign language to me. People around me had been talking about it constantly and tried to explain it to me, but for some reason I just blocked it out because I did not understand it or rather I did not want to understand it.
My daily routine was basically work, eat, sleep and then the cycle begins again.

Then sometime this year, I noticed that Bitcoin "skyrocketed", I had no idea why it happened. I started reading articles and looking at graphs here and there and regret was the only emotion that I felt.

However, I know that I was late but better late then never right. So I started researching and researching... Started noticing Alt coins and eventually Steem and the platform Steemit.

I would say that looking back that my life has changed quite a bit...

After joining Steemit

To be honest, even when I got my Steemit account, I had no idea what to post. I was not good at writing articles and know that there are plenty great writers out there, so I felt that there was no way that I could compete against them.

However, I knew I had to start somewhere rather than just complain and procrastinate, so I went with it and created a drawing post. I was very surprised to have gotten some positive comments and support from the Steemit Community and pretty much I have been drawing more frequently than ever thereafter

I celebrated my 100th day on Steemit just a few days ago and still can't believe that it has been 100 days already. It was a good feeling.

Vision and Goals

---

In my opinion, Steemit is going to be here for a very long time, and so I plan to stay on Steemit for the long term. Hence, I will continue to:

• Create more valuable and interesting content. My short term goal is to achieve a reputation score of 60.
• I really enjoy drawing, and joining Steemit has confirmed my interest in drawing. So I will continue to create drawing posts and participate in art contests.
• I would like to know more about the Steemit Blockchain.
• I mostly choose the 'Power Up 100%' when I create post. I recently just achieved 1000SP which was very exciting and I see that as only the beginning.
• With more SP I would be able to better support new comers. As I was supported as a new artist, I would like to return the favor to new artists and people who join Steemit.

Daily routine

---

• Read Steemit post (particularly introduceyourself posts) and upvote valuable and interesting post.
• Look for art contest posts, because I really enjoy drawing and it is a great way to interact with the community. Even if there are no art contest available, I still draw on a daily basis.
• Read about cryptocurrency as that is a topic that I am also interested in.
• I also reply to all the comments from other Steemians as I find the feedback meaningful.
