My Hundred Islands National Park Adventure

Hundred Islands National Park in Alaminos City, Pangasinan is one of the main attraction in the Philippines. If you are planning a great adventure, you can find it here.

From Manila, the Capital of Philippines, you can ride a bus directly from this tag ALAMINOS in any of this bus companies, VictoryLiner, Dagupan Bus, FiveStar bus, SolidNorth, Santrans. Most of them are located in Cubao and Pasay City. It may take 5 to 6 hours travel time including bus stop. So I decided to visit this place and make a great adventure on it.

Hundred Islands National Park is a group of big and small islands. Each island has its own name. From the main port. We will ride a small boat to visit each island.

It may take 30mins to arrived in the 1st island which is the Paniki Island or Bat Island. In this island, I saw many bats hanging on the trees. Thats why they call it Bat Island because there's a lot of bats there. But I dont know why that is the only island that has a bat.

After bat island, next destination is the governors island. I dont know why they call it like that. In this island, there is a long stairs with 300 steps going to top. At the top of it. You can see the beauty of entire Hundred Islands National park. You will be amazed on every views of the park and wishing to be here forever. The wind is so cold and the sea breeze is pure. There is also a zipline here going to another island. But I dont want to try it, im afraid of heights.

Next island is the turtle island and crocodile. As you can see, the entire island shape is like a turtle and crocodile.

We arrived at Quezon island and stay here for a couple of hours to enjoy swimming. The water is so clear and green. No more sea urchin here so you can enjoy swimming. There is a lot cottave you can rent here and even a room. The island has electricity powered by solar so you can charge your gadgets. You can stay here overnight. This sland is has also its zipline. You can rent a jetski here and power boats to enjoy the place. After that, I also try to explore the ocean. Hehehe

You cant visit all islands in just 1 day. So we just make a island joyride which we amazed of some islands with caves, with forest and more exciting is we saw the PBB house (bahay ni kuya). The Childrens Island is so beautiful. They call it childrens island because the water level on the sides of the islands is just 2 to 3 feet only. So children can enjoy swimming on it.

The time is so fast, it wad 5pm and the boat operator said that its already time to return because every 6pm, the water becomes dangerous that time. So we decided to go back to port. But we still enjoy island hopping even we didnt see all the islands.

Hundred Islands is one of the best and world class tourist destination I experience. Hope next year we'l go back again here.
