Flesh is a constant contending force in our lives, and in order to stay spiritual sustained it is expedient that we pray this heart felt prayer to God; for grace that comes from His presence. Our will and desires must be subdued for God's divine nature to be made manifest in us. So i think it's time we ask the lord to lead us to the cross
