The Attitude Of Gratitude
"What do you say?",this was the question any good parent back in the 90's would say to their kid once we got a parcel(could be money or any other gift)from the visitor sitting in our parlours.

Now,gratitude is the act of counting your blessings,thankfulness,appreciation of a recieved token and noticing the simplest pleasures in life,no matter the size of it. Research shows that people who are always grateful attract more good to their lives and are happier than ambitious people who are goal-keen.

As kids we always murmured as to why our parents would always take away the little money a visitor gave us even after our big thankyou(they said its for our christmas shirt).they even caned us whenever we recieved without letting them know,albeit so they can thank the giver.But as i grew up i came to the realization that the purpose why our parents took and managed whatever gift that belongs to us kids was for us to learn to be grateful "even when we lose"..fact. Now,we would have sqaundered those money on buscuits,gum,and lollipops and forget as kids we ever recieved.But at chritmas when we stand in front of the mirror with the new shirt,we smile and always remember the visitor for gifting us that indirectly.Our parents were teaching us the art of gratitude.

Most times in a steemit contest,there are 3winners,and after claiming their reward in SBD,only one goes back to the source and sponsor to say a thankyou.others are self-justified,telling themselves that they earned it out of their hardwork so,no need.But believe me that the sponsor would feel at ease nominating the 'thankyou dude' next time than others.These are some of the benefits of being grateful in little things.On a psycological level,gratitude open more door,it brings positive vibes,it fits in mutually wity abundance and all we have to do is to GET THE RIGHT MINDSET.SHOW GRATITUDE TODAY.IT WILL MAKE YOU DIFFERENT IN A WORLD WHERE PEOPLE FORGET LITTLE BLESSINGS IN PURSUIT OF AMBIGOUS AMBITIONS.

The importance of gratitude cannot be overemphasized. Gratitude spurs people to do more, it makes them feel valued and appreciated. I really love the second picture you use and got me laughing about the concept of money being collected from children by parents that was given as gift to them by visitors for the purpose of saving. I've been a victim of that severally.
