Untalented-Mama part 2 - My Mother reached another milestone in her Life

This is I think a continuation of my #untalented-mama, @surpassinggoogle's contest. I wrote on my first post all about her past and the present. Now maybe it is time to write about what the future for her brings?
Today Dec. 4 she turned 92 years old! That to me is an achievement. Especially since she can still walk without a cane and can still do her own personal hygiene. I think the only problem is her memory. But I am still happy that it has gone slowly, unlike the others I have seen who are younger and are wheelchair bound or bedridden.
We prepared a simple lunch because I know she will enjoy at the moment and forget later. But we have pictures to remind us.

Before lunch in her birthday dress my older brother had me sewn, he sent the cloth from US. I bought her the sandals.

When you look at her she looks like an ordinary person and does not even look her age. I am happy she gained back the weight she lost 2 years ago because she got sick.

She easily get emotional. She was crying when she opened the simple gifts I got her, A duster, sandals, wallet with money and her favorite jelly ace. It's the thought that counts I guess.

I got her an ube birthday cake. She likes ube so I decided to get her what she likes.

Now what is a birthday without ice cream?? I got 2 containers so the helpers will have one.

My daughter called her by video chat from the US, here she crying and talking to her. All the time turning the tablet around as if she is looking for her. I teased her telling he that my daughter can't fit there.

Just our simple lunch, what is important is that we are together.

Like a child she enjoyed blowing her candle.

Love your parents especially your mothers. It pains me when I see children ignoring their mothers or even shouting and hitting them.

Mom, I may not have been the best of daughters, not the most intelligent , prettiest or sexiest. But I know in our mother's eyes we are the best.
May you be blessed with more years to come and that I may still be with you.
What will the future hold for you my dear mother? We will never know so let us live one day at a time.
