Dear Diary: I Missed My Dose Last Night But That Is Still Okay

Yesterday was another glorious day of dialysis treatment for me because although I had a bout of a mild hypotension which didn't bothered me that much, we still have to wait for my blood pressure to go up and that is after they had pumped salt into my bloodstream again to raise my blood pressure which my nurses typically does. That made me a bit thirsty until now so I had easily drank my remaining soft drink which I thought I would have saved for later.

I noticed that I am getting a much earlier schedule than before and I would suspect that it is because of some patients just cancels their schedules because they couldn't pay for their treatment. That is a sad fact on our world where only the one's that have the ability to sustain their treatment survive's. I just wish that my co-patients have a lot of support from at least their relatives so that they wouldn't get into a trouble with their needed treatments.

I really can scoot off the dialysis center immediately after treatment even though I have a mild hypotension if not for my disability to walk without getting breathless because of my compressed organs. Typically I had been doing that before with the protest of my nurses but now I cannot just walk off and submit to their will that I must lay down and raise my feet to help raise my blood pressure.

So after my blood pressure had gone up to near okay, I was wheelchaired outside to where our car is and so we bid farewell and went home. After getting home I would typically go online and try to post some personal blogs here at steemit but I was so spent up that I cannot do anything more. I was so exhausted that I didn't eat my dinner so that I can take my evening dose. And so I just slept and did missed a dose of my cinacalcet.

I am not worried of missing my dose because I had researched that I only need a single dose everyday really. I cannot imagine taking three tablets again everyday because it just affects my health with it's appetite-losing side-effects. So the two tablets a day is very much okay and it is doing its work well for my bones and had made a much better well-being for me which I never thought possible. I am thankful to God and steemit for that matter.
