Am so grateful to @surpassinggoogle for giving me and all others to share our experience and amendments on steemit so far. It is so obvious that he is ambassador for change. He is someone that wants to see people rise thereby making the world a better place. I doff my cap SIR

When i sat to reminisce on my 2017, i realized that i achieved almost nothing throughout the year. I had 12 good months on my side to get better and become useful to both myself and the society as whole but then i blew it all off all because i felt i was still young and i still had my daddy who was ready to support me anytime. As fate will have its way, starting from march, dad was not getting contracts anymore and so i was not getting tips again so i was as broke as a church rat. In a quest to get money in order to survive that period in school, i decided to join the steemit community because i saw my friend @illuminatus who was making some money from it. My intention then was that it was a platform for making money no matter how small and i needed to make quick money that period so i lost focus. After about three weeks into my blogging life, i got tired because the money was not forth coming as i expected. That was how i paused it and abandoned my first steemit account.

I left school for sometime to go carryout my compulsory industrial training so throughout the course of 6 months, there was nothing about steemit coming into my ears. I came back to school in November only to discover that all my friends were now steeming. I was not even moved by all what they were doing because i knew what i went through while i was on it. Funny enough, i am a good writer just that i am a lazy one. what i did mostly was writing scripts that were used for stage plays but i stopped for sometime because i was not in school. I was reading a post one day along side @official-hord, and it was like a magic to me because for the past one week, i had been thinking of a story i could use to write my script and that post was just the very story i needed. Immediately, i got geared again to start steeming.

My Adjustment Since I joined Steemit

Although i am still a newbie in steemit because i cannot call my first experience on steemit as been part of the community because i was totally off the community. All i did was to write post and expect Manna to fall from heaven with people's upvote on my work. The first thing that has made me happy the most is the fact that i was able to give to God comfortably. My parents has always been the one that gives me money that i contribute in church. Although i have earned only a little but atleast i was able to give money comfortably in the church which is my greatest achievement ever since i joined the platform.

Self Improvement

Steemit has been fun so far only because this time i had a change of mindset while joining. Sincerely i must not deny the fact that it has been brain tasking but i have noticed a self improvement in me ever since i started this journey. It has engaged my brain into full action. My knowledge, status and also character has improved drastically.This platform is filled with creativity. I get to meet with people that makes me want to do more in life.People that are quite inspiring and are ready to draw their neighbor up. I might still be new here but i cannot but confess how i cherish @surpassinggoogle. Reading his post has really been motivating and has got me thinking outside the box. I would not also forget the likes of @tojukaka, @ehiboss, @ejemai, but a few to mention. These guys have really been wonderful. Getting to comment on posts has made my reasoning go wide. I might have regretted if i did not join steemit before the New Year because I might have simply carried over my old self but thanks to steemit. I have gained back my writing skills since i joined back. I did not only gain it but i also improved. Now, i see my self soaring like an eagle.

UPGRADED BUSINESS MINDSET

One person that really made me feel i have not taken life serious at all is @ogoowinner. My kind of person is someone that gets really challenged when i see ladies doing exceptional things that i cannot do. There are so many ladies on this platform also doing well but the one am familiar with is @ogoowinner. When she starts giving different approaches on how to invest on crypto currencies, I begin to wonder how come a young lady is this business oriented. She is a secret crush, please don't tell her. I have been introduced into the cryptocurrency world. I had this mindset that except you get involved in illegal things, there is no way you can make a lot of money and become successful but here i am in the evolutionary world where i am taught the act of patience in making money. I have also been able to learn a few skills in risk taking but in a wise way. In fact i think you guys should watch out for me soonest in the business world.

UPLIFTMENT IN MY SOCIAL LIFE

These past few days, i have been catching fun. I have met a lot of crazy people on steemit. I can bet you that if you have any problem and you come on steemit, you must definitely find something that will solve your problem. Have gotten to interact with different people that have really touched my life in different ways. I was able to attend the steemup program that was held at Ife Osun State Nigeria. I got to meet nice people. The after party was something i really enjoyed. Now i can easily relate with people of different background and still be cool. All thanks to steemit, my potentials are gradually coming out.

I would forever be grateful to the person that introduced steemit to me. for now, I dont really have much to say because am still less than a month on this platform but i can bet you that if you come see me in the nearest few month, then you will realize that i am really a testimony on this platform.
