It was november 2017 when I happened to stumbleupon a steemit blog post from some google searches. I could see some amount with a $ dollar sign at the bottom of the blog post and the comments on the blog as well. I thought it was some kind of scam or it was too difficult to get started and did not gave much attention to it. Then after a month after that incident I was at home and happened to stumbleupon another blog post from steemit. This was when I decided to just give a try.

I signed up and was waiting for my account to get approved. I watched some tutorials and read some posts about getting started in steemit. It was easy and people were actually making a living on steemit payout. This was when I changed my mind and decided to get involved on steemit. Next day my account was approved and I started my awesome journey on Steemit. 

I had hoped that my posts will be making a lot of dollars but I was disappointed after a lot of my crafted blogposts failing. But I didn't gave up and still trying my best. Hope one day Steemit will make my life a lot easier. I may not have made a generous earning from Steemit but there had been some amazing adjustments on my life since the day I joined steemit and here I am to share this feeling with you all.

Motivation

Everyone needs motivation on some moment of their life. I needed motivation in this moment as a blogger, as a student and as a person.

As a blogger

I have been a blogger for three years but I admit I am a learning blogger. First I blogged for passion but when I realised you could make some pocket money from blogs I decided to hunt for advertisements and used some others ways to earn from blogs as well but failed. I had a hosted adsense account to my blogs as well but had not been able to make a penny withdraw from my accounts. This had actually made me feel really bad. 

This was when I found steemit. And I have managed to earn 20 SBD till this date which is nearly equal 200USD as per todays rate . I know thats not much but I hope I will be able to earn more here. This had actually rejuvenated me as a blogger.

As a student and a person

I have been preparing for my entrance tests for scholarship of MBBS in Nepal. I have already failed two times on the tests but have not given up yet. It was actually when I was questioning my own abilities. But since I found steemit I have been able to read some amazing motivational posts that have made me a bit strong. 

I wish I had found steemit or joined steemit earlier.

Vocabulary Improvement

Being from a country where english is not a native language makes a bit difficult for anyone like me to post for the first time.  Since I joined steemit I feel that I have improved my grammars and vocabulary as well. It actually feels great when you start using a dictionary to choose a word for your post. 

I know I still have some grammatical and vocabulary mistakes on my posts but I will try to not make any on my next posts.

Sharing Experiences

I have been an introvert since my childhood. I liked to keep things to myself. When i joined steemit I felt like sharing about my life and experiences. I wrote about myself for the first time in my life for the #introduceyourself post and have been sharing a lot about my life.

I had even wrote about ths things that I had never imagined to write as a blogger in my life. This has been the amzing feeling in my life.

Rewards

Rewards are what attract the newbies for the first time to steemit. Honestly I joined steemit because I thought I would be rich writing articles which has not been true yet tho 😛 but I have made more than I have been from blogging for three years in my life.

I hope one day I'll be able to make enough bucks to pay for my studies myself and pay off some family loans as well. I am from a country where I earn less than 5$ for a day's wage. So steemit has been a great experience in my life.

Socialising 

As an introvert i find it depressing to face new people and I admit that I lack the techinques to socialize as well. But I have been able to know some people on discord web chat and steemchat as well.

I got to know @surpassinggoogle is a great mentor and has mentored a lot of newbies and helped them grow. I am sure he doesn't know me well or not at all. I hope that he will read this poat for sure. And I also want to thank him for thia amazing challenge to share what amazing adjustment has happened to my life since I joined Steemit.

Exploring a new me

Since the day i joined steemit I am actually looking for new ideas to post on it. I actually deleted my facebook account and have been hunting for new topics to post on my steemit blog. I have found myself as a photographer, artist, comedian and have been exploring other skills in me just because of steemit.

There are problems in every journey and there are some in my steemit journey as well. I have not been able to make an interactive and a viral post that may generate something for me as well. I hope that will happen for sure in future. I also have not been able to socialize much. I hope to improve these in the days to come.
