Going To The Next Level -Amazing Adjustments That Have Happened To My Life Since I Found Steemit

Hello Steemians!

Consider this as one of my official entries to @surpassinggoogle's untalented contest and I've seen alot already so I just had to take time and read some and I must say, the community is indeed sharing pure content and unlimited value to everyone which is very heart warming and continuously driving positive vibes across.

I am not of a devout practitioner of my faith by birth yet it is always right to acknowledge the Supreme Being who guides us, whether you're agnostic, skeptical or simply blinded by your own self made thoughts. Let me start my story by sharing a great quote from a man of God himself:

And indeed, Steemit opened that door for me. I was afraid at first looking at it at a distance then eventually knocked on it and it automatically gave me that vast, unimaginable horizons. Without a doubt, I went inside and the rest was history.

First and foremost, I would like to give credits to the man, the myth, the legend himself... the boy Terry aka @surpassinggoogle for being our glidepath into this awesome platform which has indeed raise massive awareness about the platform as well as developing communities in the spirit of generosity and compassion. That itself is insurmountable. We can't thank you enough for leading us on this and I can't wait to meet you personally this 2018, sit down and perhaps have a cup of tea and learn more from the trenches from the guru himself. I know he is a ball player like me as well from one of the corporate leagues in the metro. Can't wait to cross paths with you then early this 2018. You're a block party animal bro I know it so I gotta step up my block chain game as well and where to do it? No one else but from you boy!

In addition, I got to give credits as well to the always classy, sassy and bubbly @purepinay for sharing her insights and advices on how to work on my account. She's an epitome of the modern Lady Boss and already showed her unmatched leadership in Visayas Region, especially in the central part where my maternal roots came from so it wasn't that hard for me to reached her out knowing my limited knowledge about the block chain activities+social media platform. She was indeed a great help all throughout. Looking forward as well to meet her perhaps on one of the major Steemit PH conferences to be organized by them in the near future. Her community ties across is unfathomable and I seek that journey as well on my own feet once I get to established my own.

So here we are now with that #untalented word. I gotta utilized Google then to have a in depth understanding how it is being defined not just simply rely on its etymology. Gotta keep work on stimulating those brain cells and never settle for stock knowledge.

Out of the synonyms that I had to check out, I short listed 3 major keywords of which had indeed defined my persona before Steemit:

• inexperienced
• uncoordinated
• unskillful

INEXPERIENCED

• Before I was introduced to Steemit last September 2017, I was really that inexperienced guy about social media. I was simply utilizing Facebook, Twitter and Instagram by posting and sharing stuffs just for the simple pleasure of doing it so. It was too late for me to realized that out of all the things I had created should have given me solid investments in return. I sort of regret it since I overlook the power of social media platforms when it comes to earning and reinvesting to yourself, you family,your business, your community, etc.

UNCOORDINATED

-I really don't have any idea where and what to do with my posts because I was just careless about saying this and that. I feel I can't do so much after so I was too lazy and choose to stand in one spot or holding to something. I can't figure out what's the next plot. I always tripped and fell into it.

• UNSKILLFUL

-I know I am good writer for sure with a humble pie on top of my head. I am sure of that yet my weakness has always been a believer of in the high ideas right away from a feeble execution rather than working systematically of producing content and value with the blueprints of the norms.

With that being said, I was like staying afloat and just let the waves direct me to wherever I am. I was a slack off. I admit it due to these three definitions. I choose to limit myself probably due to fears and insecurities that I have been fighting inside of me. As the great rapper J. Cole spits, "We got all angels. We got all demons". It's been a constant battle since then. It was so hard and I just sort of keep it to myself and never asked help nor shared it even to my family, relatives, love ones, etc. I just think and feel it's not worth of getting out of my chest.

And then Steemit came.... It was mind blowing. Like it got me off my feet and I totally loved that new thought and feeling on this platform. Words are not enough as they say when you are swept beyond things you never imagined of existence yet the power of Steemit indeed breaks all barriers that I have self-created for too long and led me to these next level amazing adjustments:

MINDSET REVERSE ENGINEERING

• There was a saying " If you change the way you look at things, the things you look change." It was blissful. I felt better whenever I am with Steemit... planning my next post, reading and upvoting others work... you name it. I'm getting back on track. From a pessimist to an optimistic real quick. It was difficult but success requires it. I brought this new mindset wherever I go now. No more excuses. Just making improvements.Believe coz it will be a reality.

BETTER SOCIAL AWARENESS AND NETWORK EXPANSION

-I got a lot of trust issues even with people especially those I know for too long because of bad experiences with them. That led me to conclude lowly that in general, people can't be trusted at all. Either they do good about you coz they like or they need something from you. Harsh reality but it was indeed unfair to some. Random strangers I've met recently personally especially whom I got connected with Steemit awakened my heart and sharpened my mind. Finally, I was able to conquer that issue and for whatever reason, I have been really loose of letting people come into my life not because I wanted to but I simply wanted to do good and expect nothing in return. Gaining new friends and increasing numbers of them was very beneficial to my career as well. After all, human and social interaction are the building blocks of a society.

TIME AND FINANCIAL FREEDOM

• As a customer service professional, Steemit gave me future predictions and clear directions to support my online digital marketing/sales travel business which I started last March 2017. I was struggling to stabilized it since I solely depends on my day job wages. It was really a slug fest yet I am showing traction already with my account. Although I have not yet monetized what I have here and reinvested, I was simply putting in the hard work and patience creating value and content. In addition, I've been keen on managing my life-work-balance routine through Steemit. So far, I am not really into earning alot right away. I'll get there with Steemit in the right place and time.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

• Of all the amazing adjustments Steemit gave me, this was indeed the most important of all. A non profit organization created by my company where I am currently tied with named The Project Tenfold Circle would be my first on my list to received my simple generosity.I have been donating stuffs and learning materials out of my own pocket and Steemit just heighten my passion to help them out. Established in 2009, The Project Tenfold Circle is a non-profit organization whose main purpose is to create and provide opportunities for ourselves and for others to help communities and other existing organizations gain the support and assistance they need in order to make the lives of others better. I can't wait to donate a percentage of my earnings here in Steemit anonymously on their current project of a multi purpose and reading center which they targeted to be finished by June 2018. This is already settled on my 2018 goals.

So there you go with my adjustments. Amazing isnt it? I wish YOU as well to have the same with Steemit.
