When will .zil domains go live?
The target launch is in June, 2019. We will be making public updates if there are any changes to this date

Will I be able to transfer my domain?
Yes. The domain is stored in your cryptocurrency wallet and can be freely moved by you as soon as the network is live

Will I be able to sell my domains I bought in pre-order as part of the auction?
No. The auction is for the initial sale of domains. It is not a secondary market.

Will Unstoppable Domains have a secondary market for us to resell our domains?
Not initially. However, domains will be freely transferrable by you once they are live

Which cryptocurrencies will I be able to use with my wallet?
Ethereum & Zilliqa, and adding more all the time. The goal is to support all cryptocurrencies. Please tell us your favorite wallet to support .zil domains!

Does Unstoppable Domains provide you with a wallet?
Yes, but only for holding your blockchain domains. In order to send and receive cryptocurrency using your domain, you will use wallets that have integrated our software

How will I be able to view a .zil website?
You will need to use a browser extension initially. We are working to integrate browsers natively

Are blockchain domains part of ICANN/ traditional DNS?
No. Blockchain domains are what’s called alternate roots. They are not part of the current DNS

Will there be some sort of ‘whois’ record with my personal information associated to my domain?
Not by default. Sharing ‘whois’ information is opt in i.e. something that you can choose to do if you want. Otherwise, your identity will not be publicly known

How do trademarks work with blockchain domains?
Trademark holders with proof of ownership can apply to claim ownership of trademarked names. If a trademark name has already been sold, then it will be refunded. Note - this process ends once domains are live & can no longer be taken back

What is .zil?
A new blockchain domain extension launched on the Zilliqa blockchain. It was specifically designed so that .zil domains can work to enable payments in any cryptocurrency

How do payments work with my .zil?
Add your bitcoin, Ethereum, and Zilliqa addresses to your .zil domain inside of the ‘my domains’ section @ unstoppabledomains.com. When someone types yourname.zil into a wallet, the wallet looks up that domain on the blockchain, finds the appropriate address, and sends

What makes a domain premium or reserved for auction?
Domains are evaluated based on their perceived popularity. The most common words, the shortest words, and the most valuable .com domains are all likely to be on this category

What is the relationship between Zilliqa and Unstoppable Domains?
Unstoppable Domains is a grantee of the Zilliqa Foundation. We were chosen by the Zilliqa Foundation to build .zil

What is your relationship to the Ethereum Foundation?
We were a grantee of the Ethereum Foundation for Browseth, a web3 library for ethereum.
