Every Kid In A Park
Did you know that every 4th grader (or homeschool equivalent) can get a free pass to our National Parks!? We all know that getting out and experiencing life is great for our kiddos and this is a wonderful way to experience things that might otherwise be financially out of reach!
If you have a 4th grader or are homeschooling a kiddo who is roughly 4th grade, go to everykidinapark.gov to print your free pass and explore our national parks! Once you have explored a park, post a photo in the comments or steem about it and link this post. Adventure on.

This was enacted by Obama so it hasn't been around for long and I'm sure Trump will have it on the chopping block in no time flat. And I had no idea you were homeschooled!

Oh, that's super cool! My four year old is just now gettng ready to start his homeschooling. I really hope this still exists in about 4-5 years! Resteeming to my followers, and with @steemparents!
That's awesome! There's a lot of merit to homeschooling when done correctly. And by that i mean just ensuring a good balance of social interaction.
While I'm sure some kiddos are isolated, most are well socialized... better than most adults imho
I agree. I saw both sides of it unfortunately.
I'm sorry. I imagine that would be quite difficult to see and especially to experience.
If I'm being honest, I do know one pretty isolated family that homeschools. But thats one family out of hundreds of families that I know who homeschool.
I would say the "isolationist" homeschoolers are the exception to the norm. Unfortunately, it is also what a lot of non home schooling people think of :/
But hopefully allot of that is changing
In my experience, socialization is what most people think of when homeschoolinggnisnmentioned. It is, however, a rarely justified concern.
