The meaning of the Sri Yantra Mandala
The Yantra of creation, formed by a complex geometry of 9 triangles, represent the sound of the creation. There is a total of 43 triangles 4 pointing up for the masculine (Shiva) and 5 down representing the feminine(Shakti). The Sri Yantra illustrate the sound of the Om mantra, and is said to absorb energy from the Universe, it is a representation of the perfect balance, as the Yin yang harmony, and we can recognize the Golden ratio in its triangles.
I bought this nice metallic Sri Yantra sticker in front of an India Temple, feeling it was important but had no clue of the true meaning. After many inquiries about this beautiful label on my phone, i finally look for the signification....
