On 7 November, the Associated Press projection confirmed that Democratic candidate Joe Biden managed to reach 274 delegates - 4 more than necessary - and was elected the 46th president of the United States. The presidential candidate was running for the seat against Republican Donald Trump, who was seeking re-election.

The victory was announced after the end of the counting in the state of Pennsylvania. Biden also won in the total vote count, with more than 4 million votes. Vehicles like CNN, The New York Times and NBC also pointed to the Democrat's victory.

Not only is Biden responsible for taking the title of the former host of 'The Apprentice', but he will also break a record of his predecessor: he is the oldest to assume the post of President of the United States.
