-96 Americans are killed with weapons on average every day

-13,000 Americans die every year on average from homicides with firearms.

-2 people are injured for every 1 murdered.

-7 children and adolescents are killed on average every day by firearms.

-50 women are shot dead by their partners on average every month.

-13 times more likely to have black men being shot and killed than white men.

-5 times more risk a woman has of being killed in an episode of domestic violence when in her home there is a presence of firearms.
2333 homicides by firearms were more in the first two hundred days of 2017 than in 2014; a number that grows every year.

-42 percent of the weapons held by civilians in the world are in the hands of Americans, even though that country only has 4.4 percent of the world's population.

-1606 mass murders by firearms have taken place since the murder of 20 children and 6 adults, in December 2012, at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, until February 2018. At least 1829 people and 6447 have died. They have been injured. The average is more than one mass shooting per day.

-7 142 violent incidents with weapons have occurred from January 1 to February 19, 2018.
