Jingki (rice pounder, typical of Aceh people)

Before anyone knows the rice grind machine then this is the favorite tool in Aceh since ancient times, this is a tool to pound rice to become rice and then the rice is made into rice for daily food.

But this tool is now rarely in use and what's more now the ground mill machine has been around everywhere, so that more practical and easy so that people of Aceh nowadays is rarely use this tool again and can only be encountered in certain areas only , and even then people who pound rice to be made flour.

But this tool though rare, but still in function especially for pounding chili and flour, although we have rarely seen but these memories can still be encountered, but in the next few years I'm not sure this thing is still there and I'm sure this thing will be more lost and rare.

We hope for the Acehnese to always maintain and care for these historical objects and other objects, and for the future children will know how the great life of simple things done by ancestors in the past.
