Luckily here in BC, even on the top of a mountain, it does not get into the -30s! Thank god really. The key is many layers of pants, long johns and waterproof layers. And lots of fire!

Our emergency is more like, we cant leave until we plow the piles of snow. Luckily we, as in mostly my dad and mel, are innventive. I would totally not be able to live here without them!

Now, to go shovel a couple feet of snow and pull logs out of the forest >.< Survival is kinda fun if your not in danger of dieing lol.
