Authority figures do not like it when you say no. They don't know how to handle it. I am very firm when I say no. It is definitely a direct statement. There is no room for misunderstanding. I can list occasions where this was very obvious. Last week our doctor from the local clinic came around and told us we had to get flu vaccinations. Both my son and I said no. The doctor then started to quote laws that she had the authority to force us. Thank goodness I have been studying the law books here. She was misquoting the law and in fact the law states that we have the express right to refuse whatever reatments we deem unsafe or unnecessay. Score one for us!
