Oh no!! I am also a doctor and my thoughts about Canada's health care before reading this article was different ! I thought they are brilliant but your article showed the true face of them.

@sam-billings my friend, Canada's health care is nowhere near perfect and it is getting farther and farther from perfect every year. There was a time when the Canadian health care system was a shining example....but those days are long gone. Health Canada has become just as mired in bureaucracy and corporate lobbying as the US. One of the biggest differences between Canada and the US is the silence.... in the US, there are continuous voices raising concerns and reporting on the corruption. In Canada those voices are few and far apart, and main stream reporting is out and out bought and paid for by Big Pharma. I can give you a multitude of examples where journalists have written hard hitting, well researched articles...... that have been completely squashed by the corporations that they are exposing. This is just the usual shit in Canada- especially when it comes to questioning our health care.
