Because I love you...

Explaining the world to a four year old is not easy. Or a five year old, six year old, and seven. In fact you really can't explain it to anyone for the simple fact that we also do not understand how to world works.

There was (and still is) a girl called Haylee. Ever since she was little her dad tried to tell her stories about how things worked. He would explain how money is actually worthless and is only paper. He would explain that you should not except the way things were and question them. Ask why. Now this little girl didn't really care. She never would really want to listen and just get back to what she wanted to do. She wanted to play games on the IPad or play tag with her brother and sister. She never understood what her dad was trying to teach her. There family loved going on trips and bike rides in the park. But then that all changed. Her parents got divorced, and didn't see them both every day. But whenever the girl saw her dad they would still talk about the "hard stuff" as the girl called it. The dad would do whatever he could for his children and took them on vacations to do stuff most kids their age wouldn't get to do. He taught them how to snowboard and would take them camping. He got a dog for them (but mostly for him) and they loved that dog with all of their hearts. They would go on little daddy daughter dates on their birthdays (mostly camping trips to the middle of nowhere) and would bring the dog with them. He taught his children to go repelling and wave jumping. He even attempted to teach them how to surf ( key word attempted) but he wouldn't let them quit. He always supported their dreams and told them to believe and it would be true (sounds like a cheesy cat poster huh 😁) He would still never pass up the chance to tell them about all of the secrets of life that he knew. One day the little girl asked him why he would tell them all of this "crazy stuff" his reply was ,"because I love you". This girl never forgot that. She started to pay more and more attention to all the things he was saying. She was finally understanding what he was telling her. She tried to spread the message to her friends and about how things worked. Most of them wouldn't listen and say "that's crazy" not believing a single word. She still wouldn't give up. Then one day her dad told her something very important. He said,"when I was growing up people called me dumb and they called me stupid. Now people call me one of the smartest people they know". Then her dad started to talk about Etherium. Her dad had phases he would go through where he was dead set on something. Some of these were: moving to coasta rica, moving to Switzerland, spear fishing, and a lot of other stuff we could get into but aren't :). He had been talking about Etherium for about a year before Haylee payed attention. Now this girl wanted to travel and not have to spend her entire life working like her dad. He got her to look into Etherium and Bitcoin. She still looks at it and is still trying to learn more about it. Then one dad her dad says. "Hey I found this website called Steam it. You should check it out." Haylee got on this website and started looking around. Before she was in high school she had turned $20 into $130 by doing absolutely nothing and it is still growing. Now she is about to start her first day of high school and is already saving up for traveling all over the world. She knows that she was very lucky to have the parents she did, for them to teach her about the world and how to live a happy life.
Thank you Dad you have made a huge influence on my life and many others. :)
