Mick Jenkins is a rapper out of Chicago, Illinois, signed to Cinematic Music Group. On January 13, 2012 Mick Jenkins released his first mixtape The Mickstape. Since then he has released several mixtapes like The Healing Component (released 2016)

Mick Jenkins has worked with several producers such as Swisher House, Chris Calor, Smoke and Quincy Banks. In 2012 Mick joined the Chicago based group Young Chicago Authors (YCA) making him a very well known artist in Chicago.
