Nowadays, there is so much a demand for these television shows like Korean dramas, there is also a liking for the ones in chinese as well, which is specifically what i would be sharing with you today.

One of the best dramas yet that i was able to see on television is the one that is currently running on one of our local television channels here in the Philippines, which is what i consider the best that i had ever watched in a really long time! For 1 month straight now, I have been telling myself that I need to make myself free just in time to watch "A Love So Beautiful". And I decided to make it a daily habit to binge watch because I know that it is going to be good and how i wish that it doesn't end. This was originally broadcasted in Taiwan and is comprised of young chinese acting personalities. Since the time that it started to air, which was about a month ago, it has now come to it's final week, and I'M NOT OKAY... my heart broke! I feel sad because I love this television drama so much. The plot is smooth, simple, and not overly dramatic. This drama is very sweet and the characters are breathtaking.

It starts off with these high school classmates Chen Xiaoxi and Jiang Chen who are also neighbors since kindergarten. Chen Xiaoxi, a cheerful girl who doesn't study much, is expressive about her admiration towards Jiang Chen, the popular guy known for his looks and high grades. Jiang Chen is also a guy who is very distant and indifferent towards people, this was due to his father’s early death. Together, Jiang Chen and Chen Xiaoxi prepare for their Gao Kao, a university Entry Examination during their senior years in secondary school. Together with their classmates the funny yet dirty-minded Lu Yang, athletic but blunt Lin Jingxiao, and the cool national swimmer Wu Bo Song, together they embark unto high school life up to their higher education in the university and towards adulthood.

Lin Jing Xiao is the beautiful girl in school and Chen Xiaoxi's is her best friend. Lu Yang is the annoying but dorky loud kid who sits in the back of the class, even with his personality, he is not afraid to confess his feelings to the girl he loves Lin Jing Xiao, he confess his feelings in front of Lin Jingxiao together with all the many other students hearing and knowing his feelings for her. The way he looks at Jing Xiao is amazing, he is so stunned by her beauty that it was so nice watching his admiration for her. Nevertheless, The relationship of Lu yang and Jing Xiao was so different and funny that I did not think that they were getting married so fast.

Wu Bo Song is the famous swimmer. He becomes Xiao Xi friend and he calls her "boss" which I think is so cute! I like the fact that he is willing to protect her at all cost and he tries to make her happy when she is at her lowest. I wish that Xiao Xi appreciated Wu Bo Song a little bit more and thank him for sticking by her side. He is so caring that it truly hurts to see him get rejected by Xiao Xi but I'm glad he can still maintain his close friendship despite everything he's been through.

Xiao Xi is a go-getter! She might be small but she is not afraid to go after what she wants and I love her admiration for Jiang Chen. Xiao Xi is not dumb as the writers make her seem. I believe that she is more of a lazy type when it comes to doing her school work instead of being dumb. Anyways, she is actually very talented and so lovable, although some of the viewers may dislike her, but if you were to ask me, i just adore her character.
Jiang Chen, the love of Xiao Xi comes as being a smart and attractive guy. Jiang Chen is the conservative and quiet type but when he finally starts talking he says the most beautiful lines. I can tell he is actually very sweet, but he is more straight-forward with his words and actions and that he doesn't realize that he would tend to hurt people with it. His jealousy really gets the best of him all throughout this drama.

I love Xiao Xi and Jiang Chen's relationship so much!!! I couldn't help but scream and fan-girl over every little thing they did together. The fact that they are neighbors who wait for each other early in the mornings to go to school together. When they finally dated I have to say that Jiang Chen SPOILS Xiao Xi rotten like it is so cute! He is willing to give her as many hugs and kisses as she wants. I almost forgot about their height difference, which makes them look awkward together for Jiang Chen was a tall guy.

We get to see maturity and development in each relationship and character as teenagers turn into young adults. It really shows that life is much more difficult as they grow up. Xiao Xi can't go around chasing Jiang Chen all the time like she used to. They both are going to college focusing on being a Manhua (Comic Book) Artist for Xiao Xi for and a Doctor for Jiang Chen. Of course, they have a break up because of miscommunication with each other and it is the worst type of a break up. However, this is a television drama so everything ends well, and did I mention that Jiang Chen proposes in the end?!?
For rookie actors and actresses, I give them all a whole lot of credit, they did so well. If you can't tell by now I'm officially a fan of Hu Yi Tian (The one who played the role of Jiang Chen) ! This boy is everything as in fantastic. For real, this drama is the best! I couldn't stop smiling, it made me feel happy (and lonely). In all seriousness, if you haven't watched this drama yet you really should. NO REGRETS HERE! I will definitely watch it again soon and hopefully it will have a season 2.
