Twilights of Barquisimeto // Crepúsculos de Barquisimeto (Spanish below)
For those who do not know much about Venezuela, Barquisimeto is one of the largest cities in this country, this city is known by two well-known nicknames both inside and outside of Venezuela, the first nickname is: "The Musical Capital", from this city have come great musicians of international level (Gustavo Dudamel for example, with which I had the pleasure of having him as a teacher at the conservatory years ago).
The other nickname that is given to this city, which there is no doubt about why she earn it and which is the title of this article is: "The Twilight City" as the name says, Barquisimeto has a natural phenomenon, which happens at sunset, known as "Twilight", twilights are rays of sunlight that radiate through the clouds, which at a certain time in the evening take a color between red, orange, yellow and dark blue that simply take your breath away and give to the whole city a sense of peace.

I had the opportunity to grow up in this city and dazzle myself with these beautiful sunsets, so I wanted to give you guys some photos to observe a bit this beautiful phenomenon, although obviously it's a completely different experience to watch them live.

Para aquellos que no saben mucho sobre Venezuela, Barquisimeto es una de las grandes ciudades de este país, dicha ciudad se conoce por dos nombres muy reconocidos tanto dentro como fuera de Venezuela, la primera, como la Capital Musical: de esta ciudad han salido grandes músicos de talla internacional (Gustavo Dudamel por ejemplo, quien tuve el placer de compartir en el conservatorio hace años atrás).
El otro apodo que se le da a esta ciudad, el cual no existe duda del por qué se lo gano, y el cual es el título de este artículo es: “La Ciudad Crepuscular” así como lo dice el nombre, Barquisimeto cuenta con un fenómeno natural, el cual sucede al ocaso, conocido como “Crepúsculo” son rayos de luz solar que irradian a través de las nubes, las cuales a cierta hora de la tarde/noche toman una coloración entre rojo, naranja y azules oscuros que simplemente quitan el aliento y dan un sentido de paz a toda la ciudad.
Tuve la oportunidad de crecer en esta ciudad y deslumbrarme con estos hermosos atardeceres, así que quise regalarles algunas fotos para que observaran un poco este bello fenómeno, aunque obviamente es una experiencia completamente diferente observarlos en vivo.
