UJIAN NASIONAL BERBASIS KOMPUTER (UNBK)

Computer Based National Test (UNBK), is a test system that uses computer devices such as Personal Computer (PC) and Laptop with the support by the Internet network. Implementation UNBK by using semi-online system, or in simple language using download and Upload system. Test questions and all data of national test participants are downloaded by the school server (local server) from the central server (synchronization), test questions that have been done will be save on the school server (local server). Then the data saving on the school server is uploaded back to the central server. UNBK was conducted as a substitute for national paper test. Because the paper test is indicated to have many deficiencies in terms of purity of the results. In indonesia UNBK was first implemented in 2015 by UNBK involving 556 schools consisting of 42 Junior High School (SMP / MTs), 135 schools of Senior High School (SMA / MA), and 379 schools of Vocational High School (SMK) in 29 Provinces and out of country.

In the year 2016 the implementation of UNBK has been a very significant increase, 1010 school of Junior High School (SMP/MTs) with 156,171 students, 1297 of schools SMA/ MA with 267,230 students, and 2103 SMK with 498,177 students all over Indonesia. In the year 2017 or year 3 the implementation of UNBK also increased, with details of 11,096 schools for junior high school (SMP/ MTS), 9652 for SMA / MA and 9.829 for SMK level. At the upcoming National Test Year 2018, the Government of Indonesia through the Ministry of Education and Culture has targeted that for SMA / MA / SMK all over Indonesia will implement UNBK (100%), while for junior high school (SMP/ MTS) UNBK only target pairs of 70% and the remaining 30% will carry out the National Test in Paper Test.

Ujian Nasional Berbasis Komputer (UNBK), adalah sistem ujian yg menggunakan perangkat komputer seperti Personal Computer (PC) dan Laptop dengan di dukung oleh jaringan internet. Pelaksanaan UNBK ujian dengan menggunakan sistem semi-online, atau dalam bahasa sederhanya menggunakan sistem download dan Upload. Soal ujian dan semua data peserta ujian nasional di download oleh server sekolah (server local) dari server pusat (sinkronisasi), soal ujian yang telah dikerjakan peserta ujian akan tersimpan di server sekolah (server local). Kemudian data yg tersimpan di server sekolah di upload kembali ke server pusat. UNBK dilaksanakan sebagai pengganti ujian nasional paper test. Dikarenakan paper test di indikasikan memiliki banyak kekurangan dalam segi kemurnian hasilnya.

UNBK pertama kali dilaksanakan du Indonesia tahun 2015 rintisan UNBK dengan mengikutsertakan sebanyak 556 sekolah yang terdiri dari 42 SMP/MTs, 135 SMA/MA, dan 379 SMK di 29 Provinsi dan Luar Negeri.

Pada Tahun 2016 pelaksanaan UNBK telah terjadi peningkatan yg sangat signifikan, yaitu 1010 sekolah jenjang SMP/MTs dengan jumlah siswa 156.171 orang, 1297 sekolah jenjang SMA/MA dengan jumlah siswa 267.230 orang, serta 2103 SMK dengan jumlah siswa 498,177 orang di seluruh Indonesia.

Pada Tahun 2017 atau tahun ke 3 pelaksanaan UNBK juga terjadi peningkatan, dengan rincian 11.096 sekolah untuk jenjang SMP/MTS, 9.652 untuk jenjang SMA/MA dan 9.829 untuk jenjang SMK.

Pada Ujian Nasional Tahun 2018 yang akan datang, Pemerintah Indonesia melalui Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan telah menargetkan bahwa untuk jenjang SMA/MA/SMK seluruh indonesia akan melaksanakan UNBK (100%), sedangkan untuk jenjang SMP/MTS UNBK hanya di pasang target sebesar 70% dan sisanya 30% akan melaksanakan Ujian Nasional secara Paper Test.
