The Labour market is a really big and steadily increasing market as more job seekers enter the markets every year and more start-ups keep springing up so also already existing companies keep building up expansion plans. Job seekers are scattered all over and so also business start-ups and it is up to job seekers to do all they can to seek out these start-ups and expanding companies that need a lot of new staff.
Sometimes it can be hard for companies to seek out the right person they need for a particular job function, it is similar challenge on the part of job seekers/freelancers as there isn't a site that can exactly list all the vacancies available in the world at a given point in time.

A link between job seekers and employers should be created that would effectively inform job seekers of various vacancies and at the same time provide companies with several job seekers from which they can determine the best candidate for their job offers; "Umka" is this link.

Umka is an ecosystem where job seekers can upload their data, containing all the skills they possess and their various certification and qualifications which is made visible to hiring companies. This function of the Umka ecosystem that enables freelancers and job seekers to upload their data,sl skills and qualification which hiring companies and given access to is called the Digital Passport which could as well be viewed in line with a Curriculum Vitae only that it is stored on the blockchain. Through this Digital Passport, employers get to have access to the individual with the set of skill and qualification that their vacancies require.

The Umka ecosystem is a really big community and just like every community, some disputes can arise but the Umka ecosystem is well equipped for that with an arbitration system that handles and resolves various disputes. Various job seekers on the platform have access to and are given the opportunity to learn new skills, acquire more cerifications which are afterwards upgraded into their digital passports.

Some of The Benefits of The Umka Ecosystem:
The Umka ecosystem gives room for various freelancers and job seekers with several levels of qualifications and special skill sets to display their skills and qualification via their digital passports for hiring companies. It is not just that simple though; employers are presented with a lot of freelancers from which they can make their selection from. The Umka ecosystem also allows employers to state and highlight the qualification and skills they need and then makes provision for freelancers and job seekers within the platform to work towards acquiring all the necessary skill and qualification they need to be qualified for whatever role or vacancy they want to pursue.

There have been similar services to the Umka solution but the Umka ecosystem addresses all the problems associated with the similar services; all data of users within the platform are stored on the blockchain which are made available to hiring companies. The Umka blockchain makes use of smart contracts (like the ethereum blockchain) to facilitate cheaper and faster transactions made within the platform.
The Umka platform allows for employers to state the skill set and qualifications that they are in search for and makes this information available to freelancers and various educational institutions within the platform; freelancers that lack any of the stated skills have the opportunity to acquire such skills and have their digital passports updated.

From the chart above, it is projected that in 2027 there would be more freelancers than non-freelancers as majority of workers would have diverted to being freelancers. The number of freelancers keep increasing every year and this has a lot to say about the global employment market.

Freelance would keep growing as it shows more profitability compared with traditional employment.

The Umka Tokensale.
Umka token is UMK which is an ERC20 standard token issued via the ethereum blockchain with a total supply of 180,000,000 UMK tokens with a token price of $0.1.
The distribution of UMK tokens is as follows:
55% of total supply which is equivalent to 99,000,000 UMK would be made available for sale, 15% (27,000,000 UMK) would be used for bonuses.
10% which is equivalent to 18,000,000 UMK would be set aside as reserve, 10% (18,000,000 UMK) would be allocated to the team.
5% (9,000,000 UMK) would be allocated to the advisors and 5% (9,000,000 UMK) would be allocated to the bounty campaign.

The funds generated during the tokensale would be allocated as follows:
45% would be used for marketing, 16% for development, 12% would be set aside as reserve fund, 10% would be used for community development, 8% for the coverage of ICO expenses, 5% as bonus for the founders and the team and 4% would be used for the operational expenses.
