ulog #23: TEENAGERS DAY ANNIVERSARY
I welcome to this edition of #ulog all my fans. As a celebrity I must confess that the ulog family has added grate values to me because ulog is a place where everybody always have something to offer. I cannot but appreciate the founder of ulog. The person of @surpassinggoogle for grate innovations and selfless services on steemit, the sky is your starting point Sir. Also, i want to acknowledge and appreciate @phantum04 for the design of ulog footer which was a free gift. My prayer for you is that you increase in all spheres of life.
It’s a cool Sunday evening here in Ogbomoso Oyo State, Nigeria. This evening, I will be ulogging my day in God’s presence.
Today is teenager’s day anniversary in my Church (UBC) and the topic today is PARENT & TEENAGE RELATIONSHIP
Some Bible passages that were read about Children and Parents are;
Ephesians 6:1-3
1 Children, it is your Christian duty to obey your parents, for this is the right thing to do. 2 “Respect your father and mother” is the first commandment that has a promise added: 3 “so that all may go well with you, and you may live a long time in the land.”
Colosians 3:20
20 Children, it is your Christian duty to obey your parents always, for that is what pleases God.
In the above passages, the Bible instructs the children to obey the parents unconditionally, even if you as a child doesn’t like the idea behind the instruction given by your parents. You must obey before u can tender your complaints respectfully if any.
Verse 3 of Ephesians 6 talked about the benefits of obeying parents, in return God promised that it will be well with you and he also promised long life.
Ephesians 6:4
4 Parents, do not treat your children in such a way as to make them angry. Instead, raise them with Christian discipline and instruction.
Colossians 3:21
21 Parents, do not irritate your children, or they will become discouraged.
Here the Bible also encouraged parents not to provoke their children to wrath or make them angry but raise them with the love of Christ Jesus.
Although I’m not yet a biological parent, but I learnt that I need to bring children up in love and sincerity of heart, not to always be Mr right, not to criticize but rather correct and above all to be friends with children, because that is the only way I can encourage communication, and openness from the child. We as parents also need to share our sincere experience while growing up for children to learn from our mistakes if any.
I look forward to becoming a father in future, my prayer for myself and all intending parents is that God almighty will help us become parents indeed in Jesus name.

Yes we might not have kids here, but we have parents/intending parents here.
