#ulogs day 25 - Crispy Kangkong (water spinach)
Hello Steemians...Sharing now for my 25th #ulog entry for Sir Terry @surpassinggoogle is this crispy kangkong that I tried to cook today.
I cooked this because I got curious before when we ordered something like this in a restaurant. It was then my first time to see and try the crispy kangkong. And I was really amazed so I told myself that one day I'll also make one of this. And so here I am now..hehe..success..I asked my family if the taste is the same with the one we ate at the restaurant and they say yes. Haha I'm so happy.
It's simple and so easy to make. You'll just need oil, kangkong (water spinach), 2tbsp flour, 2 tbsp cornstarch, 1/2 cup water, pepper, egg and pinch of salt.
First remove the kangkong leaves from its stem, wash and dry. Next in a bowl mix the flour, cornstarch, pepper, water, salt and egg. Dip and just fry each kangkong leaves. Served with sour and cream or mayonnaise. Enjoy and bye for now...
yum! i love kangkong but we don't know how to cook it to make it crispy. thanks for the recipe ☺️😍
