#ULOG - 008 |HE WON!!!
I CAN’T CONTAIN MY HAPPINESS, THANK YOU LORD FOR THE BLESSINGS!
Today is the Philippines Barangay Elections. The whole of the electorate will elect or shall I say they have elected their respective Punong Barangay, or commonly known as barangay captains, and members of the Sangguniang Barangay.
The Punong Barangay with the Barangay councilors forms part of the smallest local government units in the Philippines.
I remember when I was still in school and in our Election Law subject, our instructor, a judge from Cagayan de Oro City tossed a catching question to us, “as a citizen of the Philippines what are your rights in so far as Election Law is concerned?
May I know your answer to that question? Haha this made me think and decide to give a bonus of 1 SBD to the first one who can give the right answer in the comment box below.
Anyhow the reason why I am so happy and thankful today is because my brother won the election earlier and he is now the new Barangay Captain of their Barangay. THANK YOU LORD!
It will be another challenge and heavier responsibility since he has now the whole Barangay in his shoulder, unlike before when he was still a councilor wherein he was only part of the council and still under the direct supervision of the Punong Barangay.
So this is my simple #ulog for today, stay tuned for my next #ulog tomorrow. God bless us all!

Participation in elections is a national right to appoint persons with responsibility
The right of suffrage.
Good luck to this responsibility that your brother has taken willingly. This is a responsibility of the family as well. Malaki ba sahod n capitan? hehe
Congratulations to him sir @long888, I am inspired cause I serve in the barangay also as SK councilor before, May God bless him and his kaBarangay.
More over, as Filipinos it is our right to vote, or what we called the right of suffrage, it is our rights to choose the officials to vote and to whom we should entrust the exercise of the powers of government. In essence, it means the right to elect officials who we feel will best serve the country in their time in office.
