It's the great pumpkin, Charlie Brown. #Ulog 19
It is sad that where I live relics of Halloween are not celebrated, sure they are in places more the main Cities and Large Towns, but in the villages not really, no trick or treaters showing up at your door....no houses decorated for Halloween (somehow I wonder if I should kick start that off?)

I love Halloween.
Whilst I understand that it is the wish of some not to celebrated due to religious reasons, not wanting to celebrate what appears to be the praising of Monsters, Demons and Ghouls. On another note Halloween celebrates something else very important and that is community. A time when neighbours and friends get together to help dress up their children for a spot of trick or treating.
So today I will be doing Halloween all day, starting off with my all time favourite cartoon It's the great pumpkin Charlie Brown. Even though I did not buy a pumpkin to Carve as really I did not see the point this year, it is so sad because there are not many children where I live, other than the Gypsy children who just do not celebrate this at all, and due to a big divide will not be knocking on doors for candy any time soon.
Then I think it will be some time for some Jack Skeleton.

I love a bit of Nightmare before christmas, but its still a long debate is it a Halloween Movie or a Christmas Movie, or both because you can get the feelings from either world for sure.
Of course there is a classic cartoon which I love watching called Mickey Mouse - The Haunted House. I leave a video below for you to watch also, it was made in 1929 but it has a real eerie feeling to it.
Then it might be a nice spot of lunch perhaps.
So today I will make a delicious Red Pepper and Tomato Soup, with a home baked loaf to keep the autumn chill away and think about doing a little bit of housework, but only think about it, before I throw my self at the mercy of the sofa ready for some Hocus Pocus (real disney theme going on.)

So while sitting watching it I am starting on another cat eared hat this time with a thinner yarn, which I aim to get finished as soon as possible to see what the outcome will be, at the same time the red wool I used to make the first one I started on a scarf, but the yarn ran out and I need more to finish it off.
Then later it will be time for something a bit more on the scary side, but saying that I love halloween but I hate gore, I prefer things a bit more supernatural with a creepy theme to them. Black and White Horrors are my favourite then of course in addition I love Hammer Horror movies, give me a bit of Peter Cushing anyday.
By that time I will have some candles lit and the lights out while I sit and watch something truly nostalgic from the british classics.

And then when its bed time, I will be taking my phone and headphones to bed with me listening to the wind blowing outside while I listen to an old creepy classic radio show which I will find on you tube.
So there you have it folks.
This is what my Halloween day will consist of, what do you plan on doing with yours.
What ever you do, have an amazing Halloween and be safe.
My fav Halloween movie!

And there was me thinking you being Grandfather Halloween it would have been all of them.
Don't get me wrong, I like the classics including Creature From the Black Lagoon and even The Blob, but Tim Burton worked some serious magic with Jack Skellington.
