Ulog #3: A sacred moment
Hello everyone! as I promised, I work in a Colegio Altamira, an institution that imparts the Catholic religion with a beautiful prelate of Opus Dei, a work where holiness and the exercise of the apostolate are sought through the sanctification of ordinary work, in the middle of the world and without changing the state. As Josemaría Escrivá de Balaguer said (later I speak of opus dei and his valuable prelate).
The last day of May for being the month of the virgin, by tradition in the school of Altamira the coronation of the virgin of Chiquinquirá, patron of the Zulianos people, takes place. We call those born in the Zulia. state where I live, without a doubt it is an act of love and faith that is very special.
Virgin Chiquinquira
This consists in giving offerings to the virgin, it is living it and feeling it beautiful, pure and sacred, a beautiful serenade is given to the virgin, while there is a procession that takes place on a carpet of rose petals, truly a beautiful and unrepeatable experience.
