Today is the 23 of september. What that means is that it is a day to keep track of the number of years I have been married. Too many surprise I have been married for 40 years today. Yes to the same woman. The mother of our children. Over that many years there have been many ups and downs. Thank goodness the ups outweigh the downs. We have struggled so many times there is no need to count. Through sickness, deaths, births and times of adventures. But thats life, is it not.

We started out as children with nothing to show for it. We did not have family or any other support or a future for that matter. My lord were we young. So young that the closest state that would marry us was South Carolina. For a New York girl that was a long way to go.

We will not celebrate it this year, But will try for next year.

The Biopsy

The biopsy was on thursday. They were all set up for it when we arrived. It was all done right there in the CT room while laying on the CT. The doctor stood right there as pictures were taken. They would only have to move me a foot or less to take a picture. He had six screens right there that he would watch making sure he would hit the right spot to take a sample from.

He numbed the outside the stuck a needle into the liver to numb it. Now that one hurt. It was all over in 20 minutes. He got his 4 samples.
In the recovery room which was one bed right there by the CT doors. They would wait and see if any problems occured.
The pain got so bad that the morphine drip could no longer contain it. blood pressure dropping and I was surrounded by a horde of medical personnel. I could here the doctor holling clear the CT and a nurse stating 60 over 64.
No bleeding which is good. Damn thing just hurts. So I have been drugged the past couple of days. I have another round of morphine here in about ten minutes, so I figured I would put this out. I am a little groggy and hope you understand.
