#ulog day 2: Finalizing the program for the Philippines' Community Outreach

Today, I just stayed whole day inside our home and finish some things for our Community Outreach to be done in the Philippines this 17th of May.

Mrs @fearlessfaith and I are finally going home this coming week! We are both excited and ready to eat all the Filipino food we dearly miss.

Filipino cuisines are the best!

I packed up some things we need for this vacation. We have loads of stuff to be bringing home with us!
After packing up things, I sat down on my table and finish the program for our Community Outreach. We will not just visit the Philippines for vacation, rather, we will also have a community outreach.

Outreach

This time will hold our Outreach in one of the remote community in Leyte. For this particular event, we will do Feeding to the 250 estimated children, school supplies distribution to the 150 elementary pupils, Medical check-up with free medicine and operation tuli.

We actually just started this initiative as simple as feeding to the children in our neighbor community when we go home using our small savings but some good friends insisted to join us until it expanded to more services.

A good friend doctor will be joining us and do a operation tuli. And another doctor whom we consider our mentor expresses her interest to join and do a free check-up with free medicines. I thought this is gonna be a bast outreach.

So with all these unexpected expansions of service, there are some people also who voluntarily gave their donations financially for this particular program.

There are tons of people with kind hearts!

We then open this opportunity to other good friends who want to join us by donating a couple of dollars so we could give more to the children' school supplies needed. And here comes another good-hearted people giving their supplies. This is overwhelming!

Look at that poor lil' girl. She stopped attending school to help her mother take care of her siblings. Her mother has a mental problem while her stepfather left them. Now she bravely enduring life so she could take care her little siblings. Can you believe that she will be one with those children who would benefit from this outreach? Another good thing is that a good friend has committed to donate a couple of dollars every month and I intend to a lot it for her education. So someone has just provided her to finish studies. Lovely!!

As of today, we were able to gather a good amount of donation and counting. This would be a huge help and is certain to #giveasmile to the community.
