Ulog August 10 2019

This is another one of my other ulogs. I don't remember when was the first ulog. But I am continuing every day to tell you the story of my life.

Though this ulog was not written on the 10th, but the 17th, I am making a commitment to put in a ulog a day. At least, I do what has been started and I will continue on my journey as I write this at the cinema watching Dora The Explorer and after the show.

Ricky and Family

We had the pleasure to dine with my best friend in high school, Ricky. Those high school days was always just me and Ricky hanging out together. We bought Jacky Cheung CDs to listen to, bought ice-cream to eat together, went to tuition together, joined sports competitions together, went to movies, ate and did all kinds of high school teenager stuff together. He was close to me and we always had the chance to have his cousin Tommy with us. One time, Tommy said I might have green tadpoles which is something that I remember until this day. He talked to me like I was some kind of alien that I do not understand why was that so.

Ricky now has a cute boy called Jay Chow. His teachers would call his real name but he will not respond. When they call him his nickname Zhou Jie Lun, like the Taiwanese superstar will he run to the teachers. This J is just a funny and I guess the parents are lucky to have him.

We tried to go to Sakae Sushi, but we found out that it has been closed in Gurney Plaza since March 2019.

Instead of Sakae Sushi, we went to Sushi King instead.

By the end of the day, Ricky treated us and I was definitely grateful and also feel that Ricky is really a grown up husband and all round man. I want to be like you Ricky.

Meeting with Andrew of Light Feather Studios

We got the chance to work with Andrew of Light Feather Studios for our wedding. We are thankful that he wasn’t booked during that day. I am definitely feeling hopeful for our video shoot and photography from this company as Andrew is one of the most sought after videographers that have won numerous awards for his work.

We looked through a few videos and discussed about the day’s schedule together with his team. I think his team member is called Roy.

The wedding is going to be a whole day affair. But I’ll leave the details for later as of now.

We got ourselves some good burgers from the Hillside Uncle burger store which I will review in a post on Tasteem later on.

The day went well and I’m thankful that everything was settled except that on Sunday, we will have to see Ronald, our wedding entertainer. He was the one that introduced us to Andrew.

On this day, We also went for mass to give thanks.
