ULOG: #13 My baby got sick

Hi there friends!

Today wasn’t a good day for me. My baby got sick, I had to rush him to the hospital earlier this morning.

Usually, I wake up for him when he cries for a milk and when I have to change his diaper. Today he was irritable, he would wake up crying for a little while then he goes back to sleep. I knew from that moment he’s getting sick. I suspected that he was already feeling pain —like suffering from a stomach pain that kept him bothered the whole night.

When the morning came, it was 4am that he woke up. He was screaming and crying out loud for help. I wasn’t sure what was really bothering him. He was just hugging me as he cried in pain. I couldn’t take seeing him that way. I wanted to take all his pain away to feel better. So I decided to rush him to the hospital.

The findings was he was suffering from constipation. And his having hard bowels. While he was keeping himself from pushing, it caused it to become bigger inside that made him constipated and gave him more pain.

They did everything in the hospital, gave him pain reliever and went through xray. Checked his ears, mouth, eyes, butt, etc. I’m just glad my baby is fine now and we’re finally back home.

For now, we are going to take it slowly, especially on the food he eats and plenty of water!

My baby is feeling better! Thank you Daddy God.
