ULOG# 3 : A Busy Day for the Kid who is not a Kid

Good day Steemians! I do hope that all of us are doing well for the day. For my 3rd #ulog post I will be sharing what I did earlier this morning etc.

If you will recall on my previous post. I went out with my Victory Group leader yesterday and have our One to One session near the our place. We decided that we will have an early morning devotion and a mini jogging exercise. I told myself that I will be joining him on that since we are almost neighbors.

I slept early and woke up late 😂 😂. Yeah shame on me on that part I woke up at around 6 am already which is 1 hour late on the said time. ( Filipino Time) so without any breakfast etc. I just brushed my teeth and went to the bridge.

He is already there and yeah I said sorry because I was late. Hahaha! We just did the regular sharing part etc just like in any fellowship and then ended the activity with a prayer. After that we just roam around the area, I walked and he drove his bike.

We also have one bike at home but I chose not to bring it with me and rather walk. The reason for that is simply because my balancing skills in biking is not really good and if ever that I will do it I might fall off. I did tried to use his bike while we are on the bridge, and luckily I am able to use it properly with less zigzags. It doesn't have any brakes too that is why I am somehow afraid that if I will pedal fast then I might stumble on it.

Aside from the illegal fish pens operated by some folks Laguna de Bay is also famous with water hyacinths.

Since the sun is really up and I am really afraid that I might be dark again ( I forgot to apply some sunblock no one's reading this so that's okay) we decided to go home already and part ways again.

Since I am learning new stuff I decided to work on something. I'd been listening to spoken word poetry and somehow I am interested in doing it. Since I think that the spoken word poetry is like an art that as long as you are able to deliver the message without the forms and so I decided to at least try my first one.

Panget Ako Spoken Word Poetry

It is a simple 2 minute spoken word poetry but it took me more than 5 hours to finish editing the music, and the synchronization of text to the recorded voice. But I really find joy in doing such, I always thought of doing these things before but I am really shy, little by little I gained confidence in doing such that I began to believe that I may be able to do something for enjoyment and also to earn some bucks by posting here on steemit.

After that I slept and then just woke up to prepare for my dinner. I am alone this time because the whole family went to the province for a vacation and as a sacrificial lamb (nominated person as always to stay at home) I just cooked something for myself. A simple corned beef omelet and since I don't have any tissue paper to drain the excess oil I used my ever reliable notebook 😂 😂

For the taste it is edible but the thing that makes me sad is I wasn't able to utilize that paper fully anymore because it is drenched in oil already 😭 😭

As I write this #ulog post. I am listening to youtube tutorials on how to be better in using the video editor because who knows? Maybe someday, I might be able to do some stuff like video editing professionally. What I learned here on steemit coming from @surpassinggoogle is you always have something to offer

I think that is all for me this time for my #ulog need to focus on the editing and stuff.

P.S. In less than a month it will be my birthday and I am already accepting gifts. A microphone with noise cancellation effects will do. Just kidding :)
