[ESP/ENG] PAZ lettering - ULOG
No hemos pasado mucho tiempo en Steemit ultimamente y no es por los precios del Steem, más bién porque estamos organizando muchas cosas en casa antes de salir de viaje en un par de semanas, pero no hemos estado del todo ausentes, siempre los observamos y estamos pendientes de nuestros amigos.
Además hoy les compartimos quizás lo único divertido que hemos hecho en varios días, un rápido lettering que dice PAZ, lo hicimos específicamente porque algo que también estamos organizando estos días son nuestras redes sociales y las de nuestra agencia de diseño Multitaskers, este lettering es para publicarlo en Instagram el próximo 21 de Septiembre que es el Día Internacional de la Paz.
We haven't spent much time in Steemit lately and it's not because of the Steem prices, but because we're arranging a lot of things at home before we go on a trip in a couple of weeks, but we haven't been away at all, we're always watching them and we're watching our friends.
Also today we share with you perhaps the only fun thing we have done in several days, a quick lettering that says PAZ (peace), we did it specifically because something we are also organizing these days is our social networks and those of our design agency Multitaskers, this lettering will be published in Instagram on September 21st, which is the International Day of Peace.
Todo empieza con un estudio caligrafico rápido de la forma y comportamiento de las letras para luego poder dibujarlas ya teniendo en mente como queríamos que quedara el resultado final.
It all starts with a quick calligraphic study of the shape and behavior of the letters and then we can draw them with the final result in mind.
Luego de pasar un par de horas haciendo puntitos el próximo paso fue hacer un pequeño delineado para hacer resaltar las letras,y luego el toque final, la sombra paralela en un tono similar al del papel.
After spending a couple of hours making dots the next step was to make a small outline to highlight the letters, and then the final touch, the parallel shadow in a tone similar to the paper.
Nosotros también dudamos en usar un trozo de cartulina tan fea pero sinceramente así fluyó, fue el primer trozo de papel que teniamos a la mano y fue perfecto para combinar la sombra con un color marrón similar además no es que la palabra sea muy extensa como para que no quepa allí. Simplemente así fluyó y nos encantó practicar y desestresarnos un par de horas.
Quizás te estés preguntando sobre si los términos caligrafía, lettering (dibujo de letras) y tipografía son los mismos, la respuesta es, no, pero de eso hablaremos luego en un post super interesante sobre el tema.

We had also hesitated to use such an ugly piece of cardboard but honestly so it flowed, it was the first piece of paper we had at hand and was perfect to combine the shadow with a similar brown color and it is not that the word is too extensive to fit there. That's just how it flowed and we loved to practice and de-stress for a couple of hours.
You may be wondering if the terms calligraphy, lettering and typography are the same, the answer is, no, but we'll talk about that later in a super interesting post on the subject.
