The group of pilgrims' cars plunged to the bottom of a cliff as deep as 15 meters.

One passenger in the name of Suyoto, a resident of Tridaya, Sumberjaya Subdistrict, Tambun, Bekasi was killed instantly, while the other four including a minibus driver were seriously injured. The wounded were immediately rushed to the nearest hospital.

One of the residents at the scene, Rondi said, before the car drove fast from the west. Arriving at the sharp turn of the Tratemulyo Bridge, Weleri Ring Road, the car flinched to the left and crashed into the bridge barrier until it fell free.

Previously the car had stopped to rest, and changed the driver in the Batang area. When passing at the scene, the car could not be controlled and the steering wheel flew to the left until it finally hit the road divider, and plunged to the base of the bridge.

The dead victim was buried in the corpse of the Islamic Hospital (RSI) Weleri Kendal. While three injured victims were treated in the Emergency Room of the Kendal RSI Emergency Department. Another passenger was treated at Baitul Hikmah Hospital, because he was seriously injured and in critical condition.
