#ulog: Fed The Itik
Hello Uloggers,
Good afternoon to all. I just reached home after I went to the farm. I had to walk this long road where everywhere around me is a field of corn. The corns are now just about my height. It makes me a bit scared to walk pass them maybe some venomous animals could be hiding deep in the corn field.
I was thankful it was a safe walk going to the area where the itiks or ducks are. The farmers are taking a rest after tilling the soil when I arrived. They showed me where the itiks are. This is my first time to visit and will try to feed them.
The itiks love swimming in the pond. It's unbelievable seeing them play and run around. Some of them are already eating the others done bathing and are drying themselves under the sun.
Up close the itiks eat anything they can find. I came to know that this group of itiks are the ones past their productive years meaning they are no longer laying as much as they used to. I felt sorry for them. Now that they are not quite useful they were left here and no longer being sheltered inside the big poultry house. They no longer eat feeds as often as they used to. They are here in the open searching for food although they still get fed with feeds on a regular basis but no more special treatment.
Thanks for reading my ulog I hope you learned something from my Itik experience.
Until next ulog.
