#ulog 35 What's Beyond The Facade?

Hi Uloggers and eSteemians,

We finally had a clear sky today here in Clark Field Pampanga. We went back to this place because we are looking for an interesting place for my son's project. They were told to look for a local place that they think is interesting enough to be featured in their school paper. Being a supportive parent I feel like I should help my son explore the best possible options. I used to live just outside Clark Field Pampanga where the former US Military Base was. On our trip here last week going to the airport, I already saw this place. I thought the Picnic Ground is cool but when I saw this small spot which looks like a stable for horses I knew this could be it.

It looks like a small town from the wild west I think it was cute and could be a good backdrop for a selfie what do you think? We checked the place and there is nothing much to see beyond the facade of these beautiful buildings. It was a stable indeed. We took a lot of photos of the facade so that my son has more options to choose from. I noticed that there are a few new buildings inside this Air Base now. Most of them are factories, textile or sewing industry, some duty free shops and companies for outsourcing their business processes. I was happy to see the development of this area especially in terms of creating more employment opportunities for the local residents including nearby cities. When I lived here there is nothing like it. No parks or beautiful buildings just the old military base. Now there is a big local mall, an airport and I heard a new city will be developed here.

I am truly happy for what this town had become. It is now a city booming with all sorts of economic activities and more and more people and finding some opportunities here.
