Ulog: Our Victory at Inter-department Football Competition

Today was the grand finale of Faculty of Art’s tournament. The football competition was organized in celebration of the Dean of the faculty, whose retirement is in few days time. Out of the nine departments which makes up the Faculty of Arts, Philosophy female team made it to the final.

It was a thing of massive joy as we beat the department of history and international studies 3-1, and emerged the winner of the Dean’s cup.

We went home with an inviting amount of two hundred thousand naira…the joy was superb.
It was against all odds, yet we came out victorious.

Soccer has always been one of my best games so far...
The tournament began few days ago. With much preparation, we came out and defeated all other faculties in the University of Uyo.
