Tarot of the Week 23

in ulog •  5 months ago

We are keeping this one a bit abridged, since we do have things to do today. Such as work on a drawing for a client and pray we don't mess it up in the process. It is so hard to be creative with others in the household who seem to lack respect for our need of quiet.

The top 3 cards represent the past. These cards seem to be reflecting Larry's past attempt to acquire foodstamps. He saw this as an opportunity to gain money (One of Pentacles) but, was dead in the water because in our current State, you must work at least 30 hours a week in order to qualify for food assistance. (Death Card). Being stuck in the same situation/thought process is what was learned from this experience. (inverted 8 of Swords).

Ah, the present. The Empress represents abundance of resources and ideas. Sort of like the motherly provider. Regardless of what happens, Larry will make his way and will at least get to eat. He received a small donation from an art fan and has work to do for a client. So even without the foodstamps, abundance is there.

The final three cards are his future. A man of relentless, opposing logic will be a new influence in his life, which will make him put his actions into the protection of his "kingdom", like a protective father figure, or King. Larry willhave a mastery of his actions. (inverted King of Swords and King of Wands, respectively)The outcome of this card is the 6 of Pentacles, or the giving/receiving of money/resources for the purpose of help or charity. We can't wait to see how this turns out for him.

Much Love!
