The Law

Yesterday, after much success in art sales, Mr. Dreamtree was talking to an associate over church dinner. Once Dreamtree revealed to the man the source of his income, he basically became defensive and made claim that, "the shop owners uptown are working on making it illegal for artists to sell their art on the street". This person, who is also a homeless camper, actually took sides with the rich shop owners, who have plenty of fucking money. They must, for they all have really nice homes. They are just a bunch of Republican assholes, so, what can you really expect here?

There are several reasons why their desires are based on an ignorant foundation.

  1. This is a CAPITALIST country. As much as Larry and I hate that fact, it means that anything goes and the best man wins. If they aren't making good sales, it is their own damn fault.

  2. Due to a Supreme Court ruling, Artists are allowed to sell their art on the street, as it is a protected form of free speech and there are no laws against profiting off of speech. So, buttons.

  3. None of the street artists we know make a good living. None of them have homes. How could you off of $50-$100 a week? If these shop owners really want to, they can feel free to join us and live our way anytime they wish. I can promise you, they won't like it. Wah, wah, wah.

Yeah, that is it for meow. Because we are looked down upon for our simple, humble lifestyle, Larry Dreamtree made sure to add that Supreme Court ruling to his phone. That way, when these white haired, entitled, blue blooded bubble heads bitch about muh dude selling art, we can literally stick it in "their faces".
