cheap, tasty, healthy and lacking the chemicals that so many boxed broths contain.

A young lady checking my groceries out one day asked me what i was making. When I said soup her response was oh .. well I'm a vegetarian... i pointed over to the rack with the marked down vegetables and said.. you can make a very inexpensive vegetable broth with those vegetables that may end up tossed... her response.. oh there's boxes of vegetable broth over there.... let me just bang my head on the counter here.
