Ulog # 13: My Birthday, My Day
Surprised, amazed and shocked of how my students anticipated for my birthday.. Hello Steemians and Uloggers it's me again.. It's my birthday and I'm happy to celebrate it with you guys and of course with important people in my life.
My birthday has always been an ordinary day for me, I grew up not celebrating it for reasons that we can't afford it. So I've always spent this day same as any other day.. I go to church,light a candle and just go home.. But little did I know that there are people who are excited for my birthday.
Well these kids idolize me in ways I can't explain. With all honestly it's hard being a teacher when you have young students looking up to you and see you so perfect. Even if I'm not that perfect as they expect one thing I can give back is that I will teach them and love them till the end.
For the rest of the day I spent time with my family.. I was with my mother, brother and kids. Well my birthday was well spent.. It was not grandiose but it was the best birthday ever.
Simple gifts means a lot to me.. It's not the price that matters but it's the thought that counts.. Have a wonderful day Steemians and Uloggers..
